The introduction of private ownership of universities in the Nigeria university system has been described as an attempt by concerned Nigerians to help the Government in solving the prevailing problem in the country’s education system as it was apparent that government alone cannot give the desired quality of education.

Aare Afe Babalola made the revelation while giving the keynote address at the Retreat organized by Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State.

Regulatory bodies for banking and other financial institutions have been charged to urgently look into how financial institutions are going by their marketing and other customer relations strategies.

The Acting Vice-Chencellor of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, Prof. Theophilus Fadayomi made the call while receiving the leadership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) who paid a courtesy visit on him in his office recently.
