Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State has recorded another great success in the accreditation of its programmes. The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given full accreditation to the eight academic programmes it visited recently in the University.
It would be recalled that the University had earlier been given full accreditation in the eight programmes it started with in 2013. This has taken the number of programmes with full accreditation status to 16. Meanwhile, Engineering programmes and International Relations will be visited by the Commission in May and June 2017, respectively.
Speaking after receiving the letter conveying the full accreditation status on the programmes from the Commission, the Registrar of the University, Mr. Omololu Adegbenro appreciated God for the successful outing of the University in the accreditation exercise.
Mr. Adegbenro described accreditation as a very sensitive exercise that could make or mar a university. He informed that Elizade University has been taking the accreditation of its programmes seriously. Mr. Adegbenro, who thanked members of staff of the University for their dedication and good attitude to work, congratulated the students on the feat, describing them as a major beneficiaries of the success.
