Elizade Varsity Names Faculty of Law after Osinbajo

The proposed Faculty of Law of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State has been named after the Vice-President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN. The Founder of the University, Chief Michael Ade.Ojo revealed this while speaking at the second Foundation Day Lecture of the University, which was delivered by Prof. Osinbajo

Chief Ade.Ojo who informed that the proposed Faculty of Law would admit students for the 2016/2017 academic session, added that the Faculty, when operational, would produce legal luminaries who would impart the country positively like Prof. Osinbajo. He said efforts are in top gear to invite the Resource Verification Team of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to assess the level of preparedness of the University to mount the Law programme.

The Business Icon said that the pioneer students of the University, who would graduate later in the year, have been equipped with relevant skills that would make them the targets of employers. He added that the internship programme of the University has also gone a long way in familiarizing the students with the work environment. The Founder expressed hope that the vibrant Entrepreneurship Centre of the University has positioned the students to be employers of labour. He appreciated the Vice-President for honouring the University’s invitation to deliver the Lecture.
