Vice-Chancellor’s Strategic Message

Welcome to Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, Nigeria—a world-class, innovation-driven, and entrepreneurial institution, purposefully positioned to shape knowledge, character, and leadership while delivering quality university education in line with national development priorities, global best practices and relevance.

As Vice-Chancellor, my strategic focus is to consolidate the University’s strong institutional foundations while systematically implementing its Strategic Plan in accordance with the National Universities Commission (NUC) Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS), as well as approved regulatory frameworks. Elizade University remains firmly committed to excellence in teaching, learning, research, and community service, the core mandate of the Nigerian university system.

Our academic programmes are designed to be relevant, responsive, and outcome-driven, ensuring curriculum currency, academic rigour, and alignment with labour market and industry needs. Through continuous curriculum review, accreditation compliance, and quality assurance mechanisms, the University sustains high standards in programme delivery, assessment, and graduate competence. Student-centred learning remains central to our academic philosophy, supported by adequate facilities, digital learning platforms, and a conducive, top-notch academic environment.

In line with national and institutional research priorities, Elizade University is strengthening its research and innovation ecosystem to promote knowledge generation, interdisciplinary scholarship, and research with measurable societal and economic impact.
