The Board of Trustees of Elizade University has approved the appointment of Professor Sunday Babatunde Adeyemo as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, following the resignation of the substantive Vice Chancellor, Professor Kayode Ijadunola. 

Until his recent appointment, Professor Adeyemo served as the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Environmental Sciences. He joined the services of Elizade University in 2023 after  retiring from Ekiti State University.

During his time at Ekiti State University, Professor Adeyemo held several key positions, including Head of Department, Dean, and Chairman of numerous committees, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic leadership and institutional development.

A seasoned Mechanical Engineer, Professor Adeyemo is happily married and blessed with children.
