The Founder of Elizade University, Chief Michael Ade.Ojo in his effort to help resuscitate reading culture and promote healthy academic rivalry in Ilara-Mokin; instituted a performance-based scholarship for young indigenes of Ilara-Mokin who graduated from the two public secondary schools in Ilara-Mokin,
(The Apostolic High School and The Community Comprehensive High School).
Applicants must have passed their O’ level and score a minimum of 250 marks in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Successful candidates will be allowed to undertake any programme of their choice on scholarship covering full tuition, accomodation, and all administrative fees.
Requirements for application:
- Scholarship application form (to be completed online via Elizade Scholarship Application Form)
- A letter of motivation (should be written by the student)
- Secondary School Identity Card
- A copy of Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination Slip (Minimum score of 250)
O'Level results (Results must show that you have passed the examination with five credits including English and Mathematics in one sitting)
One confirmation of identity letter, indicating that you are an indigene of Ilara-Mokin through matrilineal or patrilineal lineage.
Your identity as Ilara-Mokin must be endorsed by the current Alara of Ilara-Mokin and must explicitly state that you are an indigene of Ilara-Mokin.
Indigens of Ilara-Mokin with lineage either through their mother or father are welcome.
Two letters of recommendation.
One letter must be written by any teaching staff of your secondary school. The other letter must be from the Principal or Vice Principal of your secondary school. The letter must state your qualities, skills and intellectual capabilities.
