Elizade University Hosts 2026 Diplomatic Exposure, Welcomes UN Expert Olutoyin Oloniteru.

Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, will on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, host  the 2026 Diplomatic Exposure Programme, an academic initiative designed to provide students of International Relations with practical insights into diplomacy, international cooperation, and global governance.

Organised by the Department of International Relations, the Diplomatic Exposure programme serves as an academic–professional platform that bridges classroom learning with real-world diplomatic practice. The initiative brings together members of the diplomatic corps, policymakers, scholars, and practitioners to engage students in meaningful conversations about contemporary global affairs and the evolving dynamics of international relations.

According to the Ag. Head of Department, International Relations, Dr Tunde Fajimbola, the opening ceremony will feature a keynote address by Olutoyin J. Oloniteru, Chairman of the Labour Migration Advisory Committee for Employers (LMACE) and a member of the Expert Group of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, Austria.

Oloniteru is expected to share professional perspectives on global diplomacy, international cooperation, and emerging policy challenges shaping the international system.

The event will hold at the Law Auditorium of Elizade University by 11:30 a.m. and will bring together students, academics, and invited guests for what promises to be an intellectually stimulating engagement.

The Diplomatic Exposure programme underscores Elizade University’s commitment to experiential learning and its broader vision of preparing students with the global perspectives and professional competencies required to excel in international relations, diplomacy, and public service.
