Engr. Dr. I.O. Alabi hailed from Ikija in Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State, Nigeria. He had both his primary and secondary education in Ibadan, Nigeria. He attended The Polytechnic Ibadan and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso where he obtained his National Diploma and Bachelor of Technology Degree, respectively, in Mechanical Engineering. He also obtained his Masters Degree and Doctorate (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from  the Premier University, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Engr. Dr. I. O. Alabi was at the Polytechnic Ibadan as a lecturer between 2011 and 2018 where he taught Engineering/Applied Mechanics, Fluid Mechaics, Engineering Drawing, Strength of Materials and other Engineering courses continuously for seven years. He joined Elizade University in 2018 and is currently a Lecturer I in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Elizade University, Ondo State, Nigeria. His Area of Specialization is Thermofluids and Energy.
