Elizade University has intensified its capacity development initiative to ensure optimum performance of its workforce.
In what has become a culture towards ensuring sustainable human capital, the university brought together its teaching staff and senior non-teaching staff at a retreat to hone their skills.
Four papers were delivered under four thematic areas.
The vice-Chancellor, Professor Thadius Ijadunola spoke on Successful University Administration and the Committee System – Roles, Obligations and Expectations from leaders and Members.
The Registrar, Mr Omololu Adegbenro’s paper focused on The University Laws, Organs and Culture – the Role of the Registry in the Successful Administration of Units, Departments, Faculties and Schools; while the Bursar, Mr Olusegun Ajeigbe treated University Financial Management – Your Obligations and Expectations from the Bursary.
The paper on The Role of the Library in Meeting the University Mandate for Teaching, Research and Ranking was handled by the Acting University Librarian, Dr Chinyere Ugunwa Esse.
