VACANT POSITIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant positions in the University:

1. Teaching Position Faculty of Engineering Department of Civil Engineering Reader
Candidates should be holders of Ph.D. degree from recognized Universities with at least nine (9) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution. Candidates must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership and must also be specialists in core areas of departmental fields of study. Registration with relevant professional bodies is mandatory.

Candidates for positions i. ii and iii. above must possess a good University degree/HND in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity or related discipline with proven skills in hardware and computer engineering practice. Possession of additional professional qualification in hardware and computer engineering practice such as Microsoft, Oracle, CISCO and CPNcertifications will be an added advantage.

Candidates for the position of System Programmer I must possess a good University degree/HND in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity or related discipline with proven skills in hardware and computer engineering practice, plus at least three (3) years cognate experience in a University or the industry. Possession of additional professional qualification in hardware and computer engineering practice such as Microsoft, Oracle, CISCO and CPNcertifications will be an added advantage.

B. Registry Chief Confidential Secretary (EUNASS 13)
Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretarial Studies or its equivalent with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized institution, plus at least fifteen (15) years cognate experience in a University or an equivalent institution. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.

C. Security Unit Security Officer II (EUNASS 7)
A good Honours degree in any discipline with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized University. Candidates must have substantial training in the Police or any of the Armed Forces/Security Service, not below the rank of Police Inspector or its equivalent. A good Honours degree in Criminology or Psychology with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized University.
