For the second year running,  the 500 - level Nursing students of Elizade University who sat for the midwifery examination recently conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria have again recorded 100% success in the examination. 

With this development, the students, upon graduation can practice as midwives.

It will be recalled that the same set of students had earlier sat for and passed 100% in the registered nursing examination, also conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

The Ag. Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sunday Adeyemo, in a statement issued by the University Registrar, Omololu Adegbenro, commended the students for making the University proud.

He also commended the faculty and staff of the Department of Nursing Science for laying a solid foundation for the students. He assured that the University Management will continue to invest in teaching and learning equipment with a view to providing quality education for the students.

Meanwhile, the induction ceremony for the newly graduated Nursing students will hold on Friday October 3, 2025 at 10.00 am in the Faculty of Law Auditorium.

Expected at the ceremony are officials of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, members of the academia, parents of the graduating students and friends of the University.
